Our New House

These are a few photos of the outside of the house and the property.

This is the first driveway of three driveways to our house. This driveway goes to the way back of the property and to the barn.

The second driveway. From the moment we got the house, we've been trying to trim those trees so that we can drive through this driveway. We are still trimming them as we speak!

This is the view of the front of the house from the road. The far right side of this picture is where the third driveway is located at, and goes around the side of the house to the back of the house. We park our car behind the house.

This is the front of the house, with the front porch. It looks like they may have screened in the front porch at one time. Our plan for this front porch is to open it up and make some 3 feet high white pillars around the porch. The view from the porch to our front yard is amazing. If you sit on the front porch and look out at the sun setting, it is one of the most amazing feelings. Even with the house in the shape it is in, it feels like a retreat away from the city, because of all the trees and the quiteness of the yard.

Beautiful big windows in the front of the house.

One of our side windows of the house.

This is the view of the back of the house. I think it's quite cute!

And this is the huge barn! After finishing up the house, we will decide on what we will do with this barn, but we were thinking of renevating it to make it more stable and we were thinking of fun colors to paint it as well. We are still deciding between keeping it bright red with white trim, or painting it light brown with white trim. We will see what we decide when the time comes to work on the barn. :)

This is the tower that is in our side yard. Later, after we fix up the house, we were thinking of making this tower more stable and making it into some sort of reading room or children's playhouse. We're not sure on the plans for this as of yet. :)

This is an old wishing well that is on our side porch, next to the house. It's not the actual well, but rather probably there for decoration.
